Given I once hit on girl 2500 miles from home, at a wedding for people I met on a different continent, only to realize she was my first cousin's daughter... Never assume distance is a guarantor of seperation

So back in the day (early 90’s) met this girl at Cowboys in Bossier. Her and her group of girlfriends ended up hanging out with me and my boys most of the night. She and I danced and drank a good bit and ended up kissing out on the dance floor during a slow dance and talked about heading back to my place later on. Afterwards we were back at our table chatting and she mentioned she was from Coushatta. Well my maternal grandmother was born and raised in Coushatta so naturally we started asking each other who we each knew. Turns out she was the daughter of my mom’s first cousin. Not sure what that made us, second cousins I suppose. Needless to say both our friends started razzing us pretty hard. One of my buddies started chatting her up, ended up taking her back to his place. They actually started dating, ended up getting married and are still together today 30 some odd years later. Not gonna lie, I was still willing to screw her even after finding out. She was a freaking smoke show and according to what my buddy told me later she was a wildcat in the sack.
