I do like the Grapevine in D'ville, but Club House Bistro on the Island.. I think the guy who manages it used to work at Grapevine. The food is similar.

As for as fast food options Plaquemine has McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendy's Popeyes and Burger King.. And Subway. But I try to stay away from fast food. There is a Mexican truck that has very good Mexican food. Its run by a Mexican lady and her husband There is like 5 items on the menu and she makes hot tamales once a month. I guarantee you its the best Mexican food you will find and its cheaper than fast food.

Born and raised in south Louisiana and grew up saying ya’ll but have been in Florida now over thirty years and you guys is my goto now. I don’t understand how it happened but I haven’t heard ya’ll in a long time.

We hadn’t really been to either but Lake Arthur did come up. But didn’t have enough experience to place it somewhere.
