I hear "Tom Sneddon is a cold man."

Tom Sneddon is the D.A. who prosecuted him for child molestation.

I assume you are referring to the Manfred Mann cover. The correct lyric is:
"Revved up like a deuce"

The Bruce Springsteen original is:
"Cut loose like a deuce"

Both referring to a 1932 Ford hot rod. Deuce meaning the "2" in the year.

Just like the Beach Boys song Little Deuce Coupe.
