My guess is, because what's the point of expending that energy and effort? The cost isnt going down. Tenure is only gaining, the salaries of the Presidents and other admin arent going down, the cost of maintaining these old buildings and renovating new ones isnt getting cheaper, they arent willingly down sizing staff any time soon. You can fight the rising cost of higher ed all you want, I don't see it coming down.

This chart might be the best example yet of the entitlement mindset of mellennials. So let me get this straight, people who haven't been of working age very long and are likely employed in entry to mid-level positions are somehow upset that they can't afford to buy a home in some of the most expensive real estate markets in America?
