They hate the millennials because they and their parents raised the millennials and "failed".. basically, the word is out that they are the shittiest parents (and had the shittiest parents) that this planet has ever seen.

And while I love to shite on our generation, we're going to work more, and will be forced to stay more connected to work than our parents. I don't know anyone who leaves at 5, and I don't know anyone who doesn't do work at home.

I don't have a pension. I have funded my own retirement. Then again, I'm not a Boomer or a Millennial. Goldilocks said I had it just right.

The labor market is much different. Benefits have been slashed and passed along to the employees. Urban sprawl has lead to everyone needing a car because most areas do not have efficient public transportation.
Sure some people choose to live above their means, but older generations are hard pressed to admit that the game has changed.

They babied the shite out of their kids because they wanted them to have it better and that fricked everything up.
There was a discussion on the PT Board about adults staying on their parents' insurance until they were 26. fricking adults!
The "parent generations" treat pretty much everyone up to the age of 30 as a child and it is a major cause of problems today.
At 18 years old, you are an adult. The shitty parents out there need to learn to treat their children appropriately for their age.

Ask him what his interest rate was? Rates above 10% were not uncommon. High interest rates equal lower housing prices also.

Technically you could afford a house. Not in the traditional sense. The bank bought if for you. You havent earned it. One day you will own it and on that day can say you earned it.

The current housing market can't possibly be your fault. You inherited it. If America lasts long enough you will leave your own legacy.
And for those that keep passing the blame up to the people that had them, the baby boomer generation is 1946 - 1964. Generation X (1965 - 1980) has some culpability here too. Check your parents birth dates.
