Adactylidium is a genus of mites known for its unusual life cycle.[1] An impregnated female mite feeds upon a single egg of a thrips, rapidly growing five to eight female offspring and one male in her body. The single male mite mates with all his sisters when they are still inside their mother. The new females, now impregnated, eat their way out of their mother's body so that they can emerge to find new thrips eggs, killing their mother in the process (though the mother may be only 4 days old at the time), starting the cycle again.
Thinking of this and the female mosquito fact, I wonder what all humans do behaviorally that we have no clue about. The mites aren’t aware of their patterns of behavior, yet we as humans can assess that it’s a gruesome experience. I’m sure there’s plenty about us that would make a higher life form cringe.

Corydas catfish (the little teardrop shaped bottom feeders that you see with their noses down and tails up) do not have stomach muscles. They swim tail up because they surface to gulp air and the bubble pushes the food through their guts.

There are more possible ways to arrange a deck of cards than there are atoms in the observable universe.
The Falcons blew a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl.
Mount Everest would be completely underwater if you moved it to the Mariana Trench.

Some do, like leopard geckos. I know because my son has one. My son has a leopard gecko because someone gave it to him as a gift. A live animal, as a gift. They need to be fed live crickets on a regular basis. Live crickets do not live long once they reach a size that leopard geckos like to eat them, a couple weeks at best. Keeping live crickets on hand is a pain in the arse.
Leopard geckos also shite cricket-sized turds for every single cricket that they eat. When it eats a dozen crickets per week, the gecko will fill its terrarium with logs pretty fast.
Hey, did you know that leopard geckos can live up to 20 years? I know because after one was given to my son as a gift I had to learn all about them. I hope he enjoys taking care of it when he leaves for college in 6 more years with his 12 year old gecko. I know I will enjoy my retirement from gecko caretaker and cricket farmer.

My son's is cool because he has a specific corner of his terrarium that he shots in. He has his little warm hide on one side and the little guy will go all the way to the kther side away from where he spends most of his time and shite in the same spot every time. It's pretty neat to see a reptile act like that. The other reptiles at my house don't do that.

The westernmost part of Kentucky is the Kentucky Bend. You can only access it by road from Tennessee and the rest of its border is surrounded by Missouri.

The computer on board the Apollo 11 lunar lander Eagle had a 32KB hard disk and 4KB of RAM.
Related - my dad wrote the flight control software for the Saturn-V 1st stage Apollo missions - early development computers had 8k of RAM - later models had 16k - his software was binary assembler code (0s and 1s) - required extremely efficient code.
