Officials say demonstrators damaged a statue and drug it into the streets at Gravier Street and Loyola Avenue.
The statue was loaded onto two trucks, the NOPD says, and transported to Jax Brewery where it was then thrown into the river.
The NOPD said the two individuals driving the trucks that transported the statue, were apprehended and transported to NOPD Headquarters.

Great. Now fathers will take care of their children and families will focus on education. That statue was holding them down.

Of course it’s a bunch of white transplants in that video. Hope they all do serious jail time.

They are being held at Tulane and Broad, so the protesters are heading there to demand their release.
