Every trip I take is a solo trip. Being able to go where you want and set your own schedule is great… but it does get a little old. It’s not like I don’t have anyone in my life. They just don’t like to travel. I’m the only one who does.

Husband likes to travel as much as I do so I can’t really think of a situation where I’d go anywhere alone.

yep, done it a few times and I love it. it's nice being able to do what you want, when you want.

Where are you staying on your trip? Want to check out Big Bend at some point.
But yes to solo trips, wife still works, I'm retired.
Took a two month retirement trip to the Southwest a couple years ago. Would go 2-3 days without talking to anyone. Loved it.
Moving to AZ in November. I'll be camping when the wife works. Can't wait.

With a wife not caring to and kid too young to enjoy a full game day, I do LSU trips solo these days. Sometimes can corral some buddies, but I've gone to the Texas bowl, last ywars Florida game, and a weekend series at the dude at MSU solo..... kinda appriciate having no agenda and being able to totally focus on the game
