So why do unproductive people get a vote???

I mean as an educated working person i look over the sample ballot to see what the amendments are about and take in to consideration of how this may affect me, taxes etc... and how they may help/hurt others. What do the unproductives look at when voting . Well i got no taxes since i dont work? "yes" screw the man. Well this amendment mentions weed so "Yes". Says something about Obamacare/ medicare "Yes". I'm sorry this everybody gets a vote crap is the dumbest idea ever and is ruining the country because the people who vote to make the country better are outnumbered by unproductives canceling out people(tax payers) with the proper intentions

Mostly because we are a democracy. Other than that I guess I really don't have a good reason why everyone has a voice.

Never said anything about race. There are just as many unproductive white people as any other race. Just sucks that pothead jimmy with no job, no taxes can cancel out working john's vote who pays his taxes, goes to work and is a productive member of society.

They don't look at the amendments or anything other than president, and usually pick all of the same yes or no answers

They shouldn't get a vote.
All government employees should be barred from voting also. That includes everyone from the president down to the janitor in podunk Arkansas.
There should also be no early voting and there should only be one day to vote.
