Unproductive is a very subjective category that is hard to pin down.

Some people contribute ideas, art, money, work, etc.

Why do people that don't work or pay taxes get to vote?
Why do students get to vote when they have their parents for the most part footing all the bills? Until you know what it's like to earn a living and understand what these candidates represent to you, no need to be able to vote.

Jesus f'ing Christ I.Q. Has nothing to do with intelligence why do people not understand this. There are autistic people with I.Q.'s hitting 200 and they cannot form a sentence or tie their shoes.

Scruffy disagrees.

People see it as racist and a ploy to decrease Democrat voter lists, but it would remove a massive portion of the Republicans.

It would be a win-win for everyone.

I could get behind the whole "net negative" idea, but with a time frame.

For instance, if you contributed a net negative to society for 4 years straight you can't vote.

If someone lost their job and had a rough one year I think it would be unfair to revoke their vote. But if you've proved to be an overall drain on society for a few years running, you should have no say in how society is governed IMO.

We could even include volunteer hours and such as a credit system so as to not discriminate against people who just can't put it all together financially.

I'd like to hear a valid argument against this actually.

Define unproductive?

If it's whether or not you pay federal income taxes, a lot of rich people don't. Including Trump.

If it's whether or not you pay property taxes, a lot of middle class people with jobs don't, especially in denser cities. They rent.

So why do unproductive people get a vote???
I mean as an educated working person i look over the sample ballot to see what the amendments are about and take in to consideration of how this may affect me, taxes etc... and how they may help/hurt others. What do the unproductives look at when voting . Well i got no taxes since i dont work? "yes" screw the man. Well this amendment mentions weed so "Yes". Says something about Obamacare/ medicare "Yes". I'm sorry this everybody gets a vote crap is the dumbest idea ever and is ruining the country because the people who vote to make the country better are outnumbered by unproductives canceling out people(tax payers) with the proper intentions . My election Day rant. Make sure you vote!

So you're part of the educated/supposed productive group? Gotcha

So the dems can win.
Rob us the working people of our money.
Hand It out to hood trash that isnt legally entitiled to recieve the benefits they get because they never contributed.
Thus gain another vote and the cycle continues.

Your credit system. It would be paid for and administered using our taxes. No thanks. You get a free sticker. That's enough.
