Some are due to chromosomal abnormalities, some are due to problems during fetal development.
Some of these are obvious, some are subtle. Some present from birth, some only become apparent later in life. Some people never even know they are abnormal. Maybe everything works fine but they feel like something is wrong with them. Maybe they are infertile but don't know the reason. Some parents choose to have their child undergo surgery to assign a more definite sex shortly after birth.
While these are all well and good, they are not even close to the majority of these mentally ill people. I like to work problems big to small. The vast majority of trannies have a mental health problem that is suddenly being foisted upon society as if it has always been acceptable and we are horrible if we don't suddenly start popping champagne every time another crazy dude gets his dick chopped off.
Being uncomfortable around trannies is nothing to be ashamed of. It is natural to be freaked out by freaks. That's how evolution works. We've moved past that in a sense, but that doesn't suddenly remove our naturally occurring aversion to freaks. People with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder freak me out just as much if they aren't getting help for their condition. Why aren't we celebrating schizos or bipolar or multi personality disorder patients? They have equally serious mental conditions. Why do we only have to deal with this certain specific group of freaks with kid gloves?
ETA: OP is a puss for leaving though. Chances are nothing would have happened except maybe the gay aids getting sprinkled on your cheese sticks

I said F this, politely got the family up out of our seats and excused ourselves without incident other than me saying everybody has a choice.
You think this was polite?
Try fragile and weak.

Thank you for your service. Your virtue is well signaled.

No different than people choosing not to eat somewhere because they aren’t “woke”.

In reality OP freaked out when he was aroused by the waiter and made his family leave while struggling with the feeling of shame.

I read this entire thread and a couple of things I noticed is this.
1) the loudest ones are the people that seem more upset about OPs decision than the OP was about the situation.
That’s extremely odd to my but very typical of this board. The posters that generally crow the loudest are the ones that are in disagreement.
2) Two thirds of the votes are upvotes which tells me the majority of people agree with OP, out of 600 plus.
3) Name calling of all vile sorts, same thing we see on Twitter and other social media sources in the same manner which our left wing fellow Americans spew constantly is seen here.
My thoughts were maybe the Op just has convictions about what he believes is right and wrong, especially that kids were involved and decided to remove his family from the scene? Is that not enough and a just reason?
To each his own.
Not sure how I would have handled this situation should I have been there, but it’s something to think about. My kid is older so it probably wouldn’t have been as big of a deal. Personally I’m not fired up about the idea of a weirdo bringing me my drinks/food either, so there’s that.

Right. Is the OP suggesting that because the person is trans, they don't deserve to be employed?
OP is suggesting everyone look and act in a manner he approves of

Personally I would have not said anything and been as polite as can be. They are people too, but they don't deserve any sort of accolades or status because they are crazy, and that is what their movement is trying to do.
If one of my kids would have asked I would have explained that the server has a rare mental condition and that we should be polite and just do our best to ignore it.

How do you know? Did they introduce themselves, or have a adams apple?

You're lumping a very rare, unfortunate form of birth defect together with something completely different in an effort to legitimize the latter. This is very insidious.

I think that’s what 90% of the world would do.
This is a huge POS move in the OPs part.

I pointed it out earlier and got down voted. It's the same thing child killing advocates do to make you think that 100% of abortions are acceptable because 1% are questionable.
The vast majority of trannies are just fricked up in the head and need treatment, just like someone born with B-polar disorder or Tourette's or schizophrenia, not celebration as if their illness is a virtue.
Posted on 7/26/21 at 8:47 am to p&g
OP went too far. Refusing to tip would have been enough.

So you would get up and leave if your waiter had Tourettes? Is this where you wanna be when Jesus comes back?
