I did at a time, then I realized how bad traffic would be.
One of the best things about the dome is you have so many exits to it.
Howard, Claiborne, Poydras, Loyola, super dome exit. Then you have Earhart, Tulane and Claiborne going to it.
That strip of land you have just Tchopitoulas. Every game would be like leaving Tiger stadium.

Sooner or later the Saints WILL have to consider a new venue, you would hope the powers that be would be at least looking at 'locking up' potential sites like this....FAR in advance !
How old is Soldier Field and Lambeau Field?
The Saints and the state will continue to renovate every decade or so. If, at some point, renovation is no longer possible, they will tear down the dome and build something new at the same location. They will go play at Tiger Stadium for a couple of years. There's also been talk, if that were to ever happen, there's also been talk of using Legion Field as well for a few games.

I don't think you can compare the immediate post-Katrina 4 game series at LSU, to what would happen with a well-planned series of games held there in the future.

So to go to Top Golf, I have to pay for parking?

Last time I was this excited for a new place was Dave and Busters. I REALLY hope it doesn't turn out like that.

BR is getting a Main Event which is similar to Dave and Busters. It will probably turn out like the Nola location.
Top Golf seems to attract a different crowd to me so far. I've been 3 or 4 times and there wasn't a lot of trash in there.

d/b always a trashy place tho dude
tg is lame to me but middle class white folks think they cool for playing it so this will be prime time development

the main event place is gonna be so freaking ghetto...any place where u can just wander around like the mall and spend no money will kill the business
it'll also make the mall even worse....RIP mall of louisiana

It would be much worse, even with contraflow Tiger Stadium has 4 or 5 roads main roadways to exit

Generally it’s is, especially at night.

They'll probably put the new stadium in Gretna or some other bullshite location lol

The problem with D&B, and I predicted this before it opened, is the parking. The middle class people from the burbs, or even from the nicer areas of the city, don't want to pay the stupid parking price for that garage. So, they just don't go.
The local trash just walks over, or takes the bus over.
Plus, there is no cover to get into D&B. So people can just hang out and "be seen" which is big among the trashy in the city.
I've been to a few corporate events there during the workday and it's perfectly fine. However at night and on the weekends, it's horrible.
But like others have said, I don't think a golf place is going to attract that crowd. I am concerned about the parking situation at TG, though.

The problem with Dave and Busters is that it's Dave and Busters.
Who cares if it gets overrun, it's an adult arcade in New Orleans. There's plenty of better ways to spend your time. Just go to Barcadia if you want games that badly

Another unique place to be robbed and shot.

They had over 50k for the 1st one against Miami I believe. After that it was a ghost town.

Right, at least that place is sort of nice and open air, or at least has windows if it's too hot or too cold to open them up.
Dave and Busters is just a big fricking dungeon.
