frick the liars are out tonight. Professional divers are regulated at a max of 65 feet because of risk of death. At 80 feet your body is traveling approximately 55 miles per hour onto a surface as hard as concrete.

Well which is it? One or two planes? You can’t remember if you jumped out of more than one plane??

Your pants are on fricking fire.

Interesting. Those twin bridges have never bothered me much. The original one that goes into Vidalia is a tad bit narrow for my taste though. I got stuck in some unGodly standstill traffic on the old bridge in BR once and I was in the right lane looking out and I did contemplate whether or not having it bumper to bumper the whole way across was gonna bring the whole thing down. lol

Too narrow and the water swirling below makes me dizzy.

When I was a kid, the Royal Gorge Bridge was wooden and you could drive across the thing. My grandparents lived in Canon City in the 70s and they drove it with us kids in the back of a pickup truck. Scared the living hell out of us.

I'll admit driving up to Pikes Peak for me probably feels like you over that bridge. Hate it. And coming down is worse.

You're a dumbass.

Don’t drive way up in the air on a narrow bridge.

You got a boat, just cross the River at the River’s level.

Geesh!

this is why the Sunshine Skyway always freaks me out

Cool bridge. I've been under it on a cruise ship but never driven across it.

There is an valley that run up from the Colorado River around Rulison, CO where they had some old mines and switchbacks running up the cliff. At the top of the cliff it had a vertical face which was around 1,000 feet up from the valley. Where the vertical face met the switchback the old miners built a wooden road out the cliff to get to the top. Some old man was still driving his truck over that thing a few years ago. I can't even imagine.

I used to love bridges, causeways, and mountain passes. Now I grip the steering wheel like I’m trying to choke it to death. No idea why. I always try to drive in the inside lane now.

Airplanes don’t bother me, I love looking out the window.

Having a civil engineering degree, the only bridge that bothers me is the Zilwaukee Bridge in Michigan. Clear case of botched construction. It is one messed up bridge.

I have a fear of tunnels. The bridge at Lake Charles never bothered me. After hurricane Laura, I might not go up that bridge any more.

I've had vertigo issues where driving on any bridge was a 'harrowing' event. Consider inner ear issues or a virus.

Talk bridges never bothered me. Well maybe the one going into Port Author. I was more freaked out by the old bridges with narrow lanes. Like the old bridge in BR or the Huey P Long in the Elmwood area. Especially if there is a train on one side and an 18 wheeler in the adjacent lane. Also, the Red River bridge in Coushatta back in the day. It was a one lane bridge with a stoplight at the bottom.

My dad is 72 and doesn't like the high exits/entrances onto or off of highways. He didn't have this fear until probably 5 years ago. He now takes the longest ways to get places

He would hate all of these. I have no fears of bridges that I know of, but I got stuck on that bullshite one driving west through Louisiana one day back to Texas and was stuck on it with my dog for like 2 hours. F that basin bridge.

I get nervous in narrow lanes, like irrationally so. I have driven hundreds of thousands of miles on highways but when the lanes get narrow I am slowing down and taking my time. It makes no sense but when the shoulder is closed down and they have the walls up for construction I cringe and focus

I got stuck in standstill traffic on the new bridge last time I came to an LSU game. I was in one of those cars with the auto start/stop so when the engine turned off, you can really feel the bridge deck bouncing. I know its designed to do that but I was really anxious to get off the bridge.
