How about this. A nice, fit man in his 40’s is shaving with a Gillette razor in front of the mirror. 5’oclock shadow. Dressed in pants and an undershirt. It is evening.

There’s a knock on the door.

“Daddy?”

Enter a girl in her late teens. You see a few squares of toilet paper to dab nicks on her legs from shaving with a new razor.

She comes in with a new Brand X pink razor.

Holds it up to him

“Can you?”

He takes brand X razor and shaves a patch of his cheek...then thinks better. Throws brand X pink razor in the trash

He gives her one of his new Gillettes, and she runs off to the other bathroom.

Cut to scene, later, they are all dressed up, ready to go. Mom and Dad and little brother downstairs.
Daughter comes down stairs in a lovely dress, gets almost to the foot, pulls dress up to her knee and beams. “Look, no nicks!”

Dad Replies
“There won’t be any Nicks where we are going either.”

Cut to them walking into the National Championship winner’s celebration.

Soft-brained?

I'm not the one triggered into rage over a commercial for disposable razors.

The main difference is most conservatives don't buy a lot of shoes. We are grown. Our feet are not growing. We buy a pair of shoes per year.

The youths buy shoes all the time. They actually care about the shoes, the status attached to them etc. Grown ups only care about the comfort and perhaps the longevity.

Now, razors on the other hand, are different. Grown ups buy just as many if not more razors then the yutes.

I think we will see this play out differently for Gillette.

So I am boycotting Nike, guess what -- I haven't purchased a pair of shoes since I decided -- frick them. Therefore, my "boycott" has done nothing. But razors? I buy those every month.

Been using Gillette since I started shaving. Fusion 5 or whatever the frick they are called. No more. Expensive piece of crap anyway, I just never cared enough to check out another brand. But now I do. I refuse to support a company that tries to preach some liberal metoo bullshite.

You know how I k ow not to take your arguement seriously? You think Nike is a shoe company.

Nah those other companies picked up steam because they are cheap as frick compared to Gillette

What? Yeah I know, Gillette is high as giraffe pussy. But those companies also had a target audience. Gillette is just trying to keep it's head above water.

we'll see if this has any impact at all, but the thing is, the intended target isn't the triggered, knee jerk crowd that has to cry #metoo, or BLM, or hire protesters to show up someplace to act as if their cause has a great grass roots following, any actions taken(financial boycott?) will be taken by a silent, unified group, on an individual basis, personally, I'm not triggered, outraged, bp didn't rise, just saw what I saw, absorbed it, and will respond in my own rational, methodical way

Their target audience was people trying to save money. The dollar shave club ads directly address this

Maybe "head above water" is exaggerating, but go look at their stock, it has been steadily going down.

They have more competition now than they ever had.

So if they making $6.6B in sales, don't you think they know WTF they are doing? (looking at it in marketing terms).

that's already been mentioned, also been mentioned that the local demographic that spends a lot of local money at that place is not the target audience of that ad

ETA: they'll be pissed but the mindset of NFL fanatics is not a rational thinking one

There are more than 200 million countries on this earth? DAMN SON!

I need to check out the globe real quick.

Edit to add
Check on the googles and it appears that P&G have expanded the sales division to other planets.
