reminds me of the late 80s, early 90s when somebody found the keys to every closet in the world and the homos were emancipated? there was this huge push to show what tremendous magnitude their impact was on the US economy, so thy had a campaign to sign all of their paper currency before exchanging just to remind us, in all of this time I've seen just one three dollar bill that was signed and had what ever their logo was on this campaign on it

Ok.

Why did you accept a $3 bill as legal tender?

I haven't brought it up to anyone. I think the commercial was dumb as shite and I won't buy Gillette anymore. I just don't feel the need to try to force others into thinking the same way as me. I support the companies I want and don't support others. That is my personal decision.
Exactly. I'm not boycotting in the sense of trying to force an outcome. I'm just choosing to not spend my money with them.*

*would be my thought process if I was still a customer. In reality I switched to DSC years ago.

Is that seriously the angle you are going to take? You think the reaction to the video is limited to how many people not only viewed it on youtube but took the time to sign in and up/down vote the video?

Come on.....

When you sign into any Google account, be it Gmail, Google in general, or YouTube, it automatically signs you into all.

And keeps you signed in. It also saves your login info for easy sign in.

Sure there are plenty of folks that will stop, but the outrage is 10x worse than the actual people who ultimately stop buying their products.

I don't shave so this is all fairly irrelevant to me unless they make some other products I'm not aware of.

was a pun and artistic license blockhead, but it's true I've only seen one five dollar bill that was sign by a rainbow coalition member

Proctor & Gamble is the parent company, and they're hard to avoid altogether.

Charmin, Bounty, Tide, Crest, Dawn, Downy, Pampers...

Nope. I haven't owned a razor in probably 15 years.

I just clean up my neck with an electric trimmer with no guard and facial hair with clippers, no guard maybe up to a 3 guard.

I don't have a big long beard or anything.

The main difference is most conservatives don't buy a lot of shoes. We are grown. Our feet are not growing. We buy a pair of shoes per year.

The youths buy shoes all the time. They actually care about the shoes, the status attached to them etc. Grown ups only care about the comfort and perhaps the longevity.

Now, razors on the other hand, are different. Grown ups buy just as many if not more razors then the yutes.

I think we will see this play out differently for Gillette.

So I am boycotting Nike, guess what -- I haven't purchased a pair of shoes since I decided -- frick them. Therefore, my "boycott" has done nothing. But razors? I buy those every month.

Been using Gillette since I started shaving. Fusion 5 or whatever the frick they are called. No more. Expensive piece of crap anyway, I just never cared enough to check out another brand. But now I do. I refuse to support a company that tries to preach some liberal metoo bullshite.

Yes, I know, this was a lot for you soft brained liberals to process, but wait and see. Time will prove me correct.

The parallel's! They're so the same thing

Nike can't survive selling only to black people. Don't be silly

I'm logged into GMail right now and youtube didn't auto sign me in. I rarely if ever sign in to YouTube but that isn't the point.

The video has 18 million views and Not even 1.5 million reactions (either positive or negative). That tells you that 80% of the people watching didn't take the time to react publicly on the video.

Then to counter your next point of "Well, 18 million is still only X percent of the US population"

You aren't taking into account how many people watched the video on Twitter or Facebook.

Almost seven out of every 10 users who were logged in, had a negative impression. From a marketing standpoint that is AWFUL for a commercial no matter how you spin it.

I’m personally boycotting them because they make a shitty expensive product. Haven’t seen or care to see the commercial in question.

They sell insurance? They tell you they sell insurance. They tell you their product and how it will benefit you.

I don’t remember anything about how sharp or effective Gillette’s razors are from that commercial. I could write a much better one
