The hardest part of two weeks to flatten the curve is the first two years.

Turns out stores care more about staying in business than enforcing tyranny. If enough people walk out due to mask policy, they will stop enforcing them.

I think for the better part of 1 year now(maybe 8 months+ or so) I've been totally back to normal.

There is only 1 place/time in that timeframe I can think of that I had to wear a mask, and it was closer to the 8+ months timeframe ago in Dallas at a restaurant.

Oh, that and airports/flights.

Other than that, life is back to normal for me.

My kid still has to wear a mask to school and I hate it for him.

You may be correct here

This school year though, no mask mandates for them.

But given my timeframe I laid out of 8-12 months, that may encompass the tail end of last school year, in which they did still have to wear masks.

But once that school year ended at the end of May 2021, I don't think they've worn a mask since, other than the 1 restaurant/airports example I mentioned.

My kid still has to still wear a mask to school in New Orleans. If we decided to go to a restaurant in Orleans, we'd have to show proof of vaccination to enter. If I wanted to ride in a parade, I'd have to be vaccinated...

So covid may be over, but power hungry twats like Cantrell, and psycho liberals like Avegno won't let it be over.

It should be over. I know of several nurses making $4400 PER WEEK for registry/travel.

Haha.

Somebody gets it. Why do you think they are mailing 4 free tests to every household in the country? Think about it.

Yes it's over. I just was able to go offshore without having to take a covid test for the first time in almost two years

Nobody gives a shite about covid anymore time for everyone to move on

This wave is dying out and there doesn’t appear to be anything else on the horizon right now. No need for any restrictions or special care now or in the foreseeable future.
