I don't even trust my family to dust my model cabinets. There's no way I would take any of my completed models to my office at work. Sorry bro truly sucks. Been there and have lost a few models to people being clumsy

Id be pissed. That's some serious arse dusting to knock an entire shelf off the supports

That sucks. I 3D Print a lot of stuff and it took someone breaking one of my helmets to figure out that I needed to be extra cautious with people around my stuff because people are just clumsy and careless.

there's a lot of those at the bottom of the GoM that were used as target drones, brings a tear to my eye to see those things go flopping and flailing away after being hit

You can’t have nothin’. Sorry man, I know that is very frustrating considering the amount of time and effort you’ve put into those projects.

That’s roughly 5-6 months worth of work gone. What’s weird is the cleaning crew never dusts. They just take out the trash and vacuum the shitty carpet. And even if they were going to dust, I could tell they were far from careful. On the upper shelves my models were misaligned where they’d been push around. And the one of the vehicles had its antenna broke off. That shelf has been there a long time and they’ve never touched it until last night. And they don’t even need to dust it. I keep one of those aerosol duster cans that I use to keep them dusted.

They probably tripped and fell into the shelving or hit it with the vacuum cleaner. Like Jones said, no amount of dusting knocked the shelf off the pegs.

Really the only reason for this shelf is to free up shelf space at home. But I do like having it in my work office. It’s quite popular when people are in my office.

Don’t lie, you only put these things together so you can get high off the glue

I built up an immunity to glue decades ago.

When I read the title of this thread it made me think of the episode of The Office where Michael walks in to find the poop in his office. Creed had this classic line when he walked in and smelled it:
