Headed down to Leesville & Grand Isle at the end of next month for some fishing. I haven't been in awhile and was wondering what the OT Operator Baller class was wearing for saltwater fishing excursions.

Whatcha got? Please spare me your Chaco & Croc suggestions (unless the latter can be worn with socks, as God intended).

Agreed totally, but just ran across these on Amazon and was thinking they'd be a good look. They seem versatile enough to go from the dock to the board room.

I have these right now. Take my shoes off once in the boat.

This would get such a better response on the Outdoor Board. Why would you even bring this question to the OT? Damn you dumb.

Croc suggestions

Then the thread is over. Whatever you land on won't stack up to crocs offshore. I'm not that guy saying they should be worn in public, but crocs were absolutely designed for one purpose, and that's offshore fishing.

Headed to Arties while in Grand Isle? Wear these, you'll be the hit of the night!

Every hardcore fisherman I know pretty much universally swears by Crocs. They're comfortable as hell and can just be sprayed off if you get guts and shite on em. Most of them have "croc spots" tans by the end of the summer.
