Never crocs. As mentioned, slippery as hell.

Have never had this issue, especially with the back strap in place. I have found crocs run big though, and I have to buy a size smaller than usual, maybe thats whats causing the slippin?

That may have been my problem with them, I do remember them being a bit wider than other shoes I'd normally wear. It's all personal preference. I like the non skid feel on my feet.

The only time I've had issue going barefoot was when others were wearing shoes in rougher seas and they were stepping all over my toes ... And I was the one standing still trying to cut bait.

By the end of the trip, I was ready to throw the bait and knife at them.

I have those Olukais and they're great on the boat

They look kinda ridiculous but they're comfortable and versatile.

GF tries to throw them away all the time but I go get them

They look like this

Just to clarify on the crocs, which I agree are the best option, there are two different types of bottoms of crocs. The basic which will slip all over and the ones designed for boats

Ive had three pairs of those sperry flip flops, they fall apart way too quickly. Not wasting my money there anymore. It sucks too because they are comfortable.

I've used Sanuk's for a couple of years. They're a Hawaiian brand, and work great on deck. Comfy... no slippage.

I like the Sperry Shock. They have a non-slip sole and some cushion to help absorb the waves while running.
