So Fuel Adjustment accounts for 52% of my Entergy bill.

$133 on a 2500 sqft house.
+$69 Fuel Adjustment Charge
Thanks Biden. I’m starting to notice a trend with Entergy and Crawfish prices. They always got an excuse.

Entergy really has gone to shite the last 2 years...especially since they started pushing those smart meters. frick them

I thought those were supposed to help. At first I was like cool. Only $133 was expected because it tracks daily….
Now they hit me with $70 additional for fuel. They apparently can just make this up as they go.

I am still dodging installation of that meter. The letters are getting less friendly and they even showed up unannounced and left a hang tag on the front gate. I figure they will probably just cut my power at some point to force the issue. Those things made everyone's bill go up. Entergy's explanation was that the meters are more accurate. bullshite.

In my case mine apparently malfunctioned for a while, then I just stopped getting bills. I called over and over and was told I just simply didn't have a balance and enjoy the free electricity...then I get popped with a $2000 bill...now I get phone calls during the week from a tech needing to get into my backyard to check the meter, when I refuse to leave work he just says he'll try back...when I call entergy to ask why they need to check their awesome first class state of the art meter they don't know why

2 month lag from market to bill. It's been covered before. The energy charge is based on where the market was 2 months ago.

I retired from this woke as company in 2016. It really started going down hill rapidly around 2008. I can only imagine how bad it is now with all this woke shite going on with these companies. It was unbearable before I retired. Most people I worked with are just trying to get to 55 so they can retire. Now if you are black you can get away with anything. I’m not kidding. We had one that should have been fired for screwing shite up all the time. I started documenting everything he messed up just in case they ever came after me. They frown on making mistakes working in a Nuclear plant.

$67 Fuel Adjustment Charge. I billed them a $68 mailbox maintenance fee.
