Not that I'm a Snoop apologist, but he's spoken about this. He said it was wrong & ignorant and expressed a more positive sentiment towards Trump, stating he had "nothing but love and respect" for him. Even performing for Trump.
His views changed, as many others have, when the left went too far.

It’s still absolutely amazing to me that Disney/Pixar managed to make a Buzz fricking Lightyear movie bomb. Buzz Lightyear is probably the single most popular animated character created in my lifetime. For reference since Toy Story’s release, Disney has sold more Buzz action figures than Mickey Mouse dolls. That movie should have printed money and should have been for boys what Frozen is for girls.
But they decided to make it all Woke and light a billion plus dollars on fire. Not to mention they didn’t hire Tim Allen for his politics and that probably cost them another $50 million.

I had no idea that happened. Good for him, but like many of us, the change is coming too late. This garbage is already entrenched in everything we have, especially for our kids. I too was part of the problem as I voted for many Democrats in my life.
