The habanero chicken tender meal is 8.99 (was 6.99 years ago but he was forced to go up due to prices) but the quality and size never faltered.
The meal comes with 2 huge, juicy, flavorful tenders. The breading is crispy and compliments the meat. You get 2 amazing sides, plus a large portion of home made dipping sauce (he's got the best ranch and "cocktail" {kind of a remoulade} sauce I've had).
It's a steal for under 10. His 2 tenders are easily the size of 5-8 of the canes.

I’ve been crossing off lots of companies lately for raising prices beyond the value of their product. I guess I’ll have to add Canes to that list.

shite when I moved to BR in 1998 for my freshman year 5 bucks could get you a 5 finger box that would feed you lunch and dinner because the chicken was huge....now 15 bucks and the fingers are small and they don't taste as good.

Cane's is wildly successful.
And like every other business, they are facing increased cost with labor, ingredients, insurance, etc. Their prices are going to go up.

They quit calling the 3 finger a snack box when the price went over $6. Now it's going to be over $10 pre-tax.
Cane's is doing very well and every location I've seen has long lines all the time. More power to them. I like that it's expensive so I won't be tempted to eat it
