Seems like a no-brainer then

Sure, if you're lazy with no self-respect, dignity, and a general disregard for bilking others out of their hard earned money.

Damn. Kudos to you then. I have a family of four, two very small girls, and probably spend $1,200 a month easy. But that also includes my beer budget and my grocery store is unfortunately right by Disney.

It's past time to stop just handing out free money to these bums. Give them just the basic necessities to keep them alive. Give them a sack of beans and rice once a month instead and I bet it doesn't take long for them to fix their situation

I'm not against SNAP but I'm against how it's been abused or applied. These programs have only been enablers for people who need help financially. I know that's the purpose but it's literally abuse and individuals applaud it.

12% raise for a family of poor. How many employed people are getting a 12% raise this year?

I'm going to get some shite for this, but snap or whatever food stamps shouldn't cover any and all snacks, drinks, or foods. It should cover basic foods that meet basic nutritional necessities

totally agree - it should be set up like the WIC program where you can only buy certain foods based on nutritional needs.

I sure didn't and I work my arse off. No one is saying that they'd prefer to be on SNAP, that is a dumb and disingenuous agreement to make. But the bottom needs to be lower for these lazy pieces of shite or they'll never get off their arse and work for a living.

Exactly the response I would expect from someone with the name boosiebadazz. I bet you love living off of the government.

They showed their cards when they made snap able to be used in hot food.

SNAP spending is barely a drop in the bucket.

Walmart is the biggest beneficiary of the program.

Put your money where your mouth is and sell any stock you own by these big corporations that rely on snap customers.

The problem is that everyone is reliant on them. Hospitals and most doctors’ offices have to dance to the government’s tune because they rely on Medicare and Medicaid. As far as groceries, even Whole foods is taking SNAP. Where can you go that doesn’t rely on the government to stay afloat anymore?
