I’m sure a lot of females in the 13-39 range experienced temporary weight gain followed by a sudden loss.

Most likely reason is insulin resistance. You need to move towards a keto based nutritional profile. Keep the total carbs under 25 per day (no cheating) and your body will change to burning that belly fat for energy. You can also add intermittent fasting to really get it boosted.

I can lose a pound a day for as long as I stay on it.

What I've learned from this pandemic is that going in to the office was making me fat. So much free lunches and snacks throughout the day.

Since working from home all year, I eat much less and have lost 40 pounds.

It must suck knowing that the fat people you hate so much, can lose weight to drastically change their appearance.

There’s only so many platform shoes you can buy.

yeah - no fried foods, no soda, no candy - just started measuring food portions for proteins and veggies.

no eating out at all has made a tremendous difference.

will see how much i can get going now that the Gym work starts tonight.

I did similar.
Really don’t need a gym. Running and body weight routine will do wonders (push ups, pull ups, chin ups, squats). Maybe some small 15 to 25 weights at home too.

Except the purpose of this thread was to point out that most fatties decided to use 2020 to get themselves even fatter.

U.S. Adults Report Undesired Weight Change

Any weight change that isn't related to an illness is 100% desired by the actions the person takes.

Agreed.

But, that would take actual effort.
Americans arent big on effort.

Average weight gain of 37 pounds? And loss of average 25 pounds? Jeez, how much do these people’s weights fluctuate?
Americans are no doubt fat as frick but these numbers seem extreme.

I agree - my issue is I have been overweight since 1997, so I have a lot of "toning" to do to get in a better place - but it was surprisingly easy to get the weight off.

2nd best decision i have ever made.

Who reports undesired weight loss?

People who get really sick. I got down to 85 pounds once when I was 15 due to a major surgery and should have weighed around 135. That sucked.

It seems impossible at first but once you really commit to eating well, and stick through the first few weeks, it is actually shockingly easy to lose weight without doing anything crazy. There's just so much bullshite in the average American's diet. And eating that stuff will lead to you being on medication that leads to more weight gain and you're locked in that cycle until you die.

You'd think it'd be hard to gain 30 lbs when you are already a fatass, but I don't put anything passed then.

The average losses and gains are insane. People with undesired weight loss lost average of 25 pounds? jesus christ.

very true - 285 was always my line - I could never get through it - and it took about a week to get through it - but once I did, i knew there was nothing stopping me from getting there but me.

my only advice for people who don't think they can make it - is to stick with it and don't give up, cause it will happen - and this from the guy who gave up so may times before.
