That isn't as impressive as voyayger 1's 6 billion mile pic of earth
And that's not even as impressive as the USS Voyager making it back to Earth after getting stranded 70,000 light years away in the Delta Quadrant

I did the very rough numbers once...
1) A golf ball represents the size of the earth (1.68" in diameter)
2) A large ball (15.16 feet in diameter) represents the relative size of the Sun (sitting on a par 5 green)
3) The relative distance from earth to sun (93,000,000 miles) would scale to a 545 yard par-5 golf hole.
so:
earth size = golf ball
Sun size = 15-foot diameter ball
Distance between = 545 yard par 5
Pretty close - prove me wrong...

like to believe that when this does happen. Sure 99.9% of all life will die. But there will be a tiny .1% who narrowly survives. They become disfigured, but also mutated as well. These humanoids have developed superman like powers after earths destruction. And they now go on the search from planet to planet, galaxy to galaxy hoping to find more signs of intelligient life out there.

Crazy that even 93 million miles away.. it’s so damn hot here on earth in the summer because of this big bastard

If the Sun were the size of a quarter then Pluto would be about a football field away.
If a Hydrogen nucleus was the size of a quarter then its electron would be nearly a mile away (probably ).
So, there’s a lot of “space” out there, both big and small.

Only because we have an atmosphere. Otherwise, practically the entire planet would be well below freezing. Heat energy is interesting like that.

I once looked at the sun for over an hour because I was curious as a cat. That why they call me whiskers.

What is that?
A planet for no one?
How can anyone fit into a planet that size?

Is this like one of those hoist pictures where someone holds the 12 inch snake on a 10 ft pole for the camera?

Just what I thought. The sun has a very low IQ and an extremely poor credit rating.

We will create AI.
We will destroy life on Earth, ourselves.
AI will leave Earth and carry all history and human knowledge with it.
AI will seek out other planets and remake Earth with its knowledge.
AI will learn how to communicate with God.
God will smile and say to himself, "It is done."

It's been calculated that it would take 51 hours for a commercial airline to fly completely around the equator of the Earth.
It's also been calculated that if the Earth were the same size as the Sun, it would take an airline approx 12.5 YEARS to circle it's equator!

I took 7th grade science, but thanks.

Not buying it because the Earth looks round in that pic.
Obviously fake.
Bruh,
It can be round and still be flat. Like a quarter.

Come on people! Don't fall for this fake news. If I hold a quarter at arms length I can completely block out the sun. The sun is therefore smaller than a quarter.
