Fentanyl or no fentanyl, don't do drugs if you want to be an army officer. They got what was coming, so maybe my tax dollars will be spent on better cadets.

It's amazing what happens with the heroin addicts. Someone said it earlier, a bad batch will come in and they will all flock to it because it's supposed to be good.
One will die and they'll flock. Then youll have like 5 or 6 dead in a weeekend
My cousin is a fireman/emt and this is accurate. He told me the same thing not to long ago. They can always tell when a bad batch hits town.

Sounds like the bad batches thin out the herd of degenerate addicts

The video you linked to came from a TV news outlet in North Carolina. The incident with the officer happened in Oklahoma. To have a better understanding of the incident it's best to find a local source or at least one that doesn't copy/paste from another outlet.
I just grabbed the video from youtube. Glad you found the real article.

There are a lot of assumptions going on in the article without corroboration. The TV station took the report from the local police without checking to see if the officer had a drug screen performed on him when admitted to the hospital. The local report didn't confirm that the drug the officer was handling actually contained fentanyl, only that is was methamphetamine potentially laced with fentanyl. A chemical report would confirm this, however the local news did not confirm that such a test was administered and if fentanyl was actually detected.
I dont have a whole lot of experience with meth, but Ive never seen anyone pass out from handling.

You, I, and everyone else should not trust police reports, especially ones designed for news outlets, without evidence to back up their claims. It's lazy journalism without integrity.
I agree.

No one died? Ok
Are we gonna write articles every time someone drinks too much vodka on spring break?
Just trying to push fear

I can assure you with 100% certainty that the mouth to mouth rescuers did not have a dose transmitted to them to cause their own OD.
This video appears to debunk your assertion that you can't OD by simply being "around" fent.

What a disgrace. I’m guessing they don’t do random drug test anymore.

I guess im a prude, i just dont understand the appeal of drugs.. the risk/reward just seems off the charts tilted towards a terrible outcome, and even if you do get a nice feeling from them, most will feel compelled to chase that high until theyre addicted/dead/in jail…. Of course im in my 40s and anything stronger than coffee now sends me into a tizzy lol.. but even when younger, I thought alcohol was plenty entertaining enough, or just smoke pot- which , while it was never really my thing, i dont consider it an actual ‘drug’, to me it’s on the same level as beer .

To my knowledge an opioid overdose from fentanyl doesn't happen from being in direct contact with another person or even the drug itself.

Then why are the Nitrile gloves in the hospital manufactured to provide protection against Fentanyl skin exposure?
