The
@NYCMayor
is announcing a plan to provide child care for 100K NYC children in the fall. It will use community centers and organizations, libraries and other space to set up care. The number of spots he says could increase in the fall.

So, now science says its the act of teaching that spreads covid

So basically you’ll just have school without learning or any sort of discipline structure. Who will be staffing these community centers, libraries, etc.?

What happens when little Johnny decides he wants to leave the library and roam the streets with his friends while mom and dad are at work?

I guess the logic being that they could keep the groups smaller and more spread out?

Either way, seems like just opening schools would serve the same function.

Just offer virtual learning as well and let the parents choose.

I’ve seen a lot of teachers complaining about being a child care for working parents.

It blows my mind that they are so willing to give up one of the things that makes them valuable to society. What are teachers going to do if we find out e-learning works and some lady in Idaho will do it for half the price as at New Yorker?

Are Democrats really that stupid?

Never mind. I know the answer to that question. Their stupidity is infuriating.
