Had to make the trip out to St George this morning to check in a couple of things. Is there a shite cloud over the area this morning? The entire area around Coursey/ Stumberg etc smells like a sewer plant.

I’d have thought that would be at the southwest end of the city.

That’s the possibility of the whole city failing for doing backroom downzoning deals.

It’s better to shite in the sink than to sink in the shite

Someone forgot to turn on the border fans, and the smell from Poor Baton Rouge spilled over.

I’m not familiar with what’s exactly St. George vs Baton Rouge. But Gardere has a sewage processing station that smells up a square mile area near Nicholson. Every time I pass, it smells like shite.

That treatment plant is in unincorporated EBR.

Coursey at Stumberg is the border of SG and BR

Coursey/ Stumberg

everything west of Stumberg is BR proper

the subdivision just behind the Benny's carwash, the apartment north of the Courey/hickery ridge intersection is BR, as well as the apartments on the east side of Sumberg just south of Coursey.....

If you smelt it, you dealt it.

But honestly, with high pressure building in and no significant breeze in the summer and a high temperature day, you can expect a sewer smell from the sewerage treatment plants.

My favorite sewer plant location has to be the one in Kenner. Right as you drive into the city of New Orleans, you get hit with a smell that smells like a French Quarter dumpster in August year round.
