He’s keeping the space under the bridge and opening another place. At least that’s what he told the journalist who wrote the story.
I wouldn’t have blamed him for moving, but for now, he says he’s staying and just moving Fatty’s…to an equally dangerous location, if you ask me.

Do you guys not remember Master P and C Murder in Baton Rouge 25-ish years ago? It's gonna be the same thing. He's going to bring in some business, make his money, and leave. Locals and local businesses and investors will be left flat after the rug-pull.

Dang you’d think Shreveport could stand on its own, or it seems like it used to

Shreveport doesn't have enough going on to pass on that.
Throw in the OG vibe that pacifies the local more feral types when he's got his friends in town for the comedy week and I gotta say, I for one welcome our new Warlord of Shreveport, 50 cent. Long may he reign.

Wouldn’t shock me if 50’s people and many of them are eyeing Shreveport. Downtown’s full of old high-rises just sitting there—low occupancy, easy to grab for the right price. Most need some serious updating, but a few already cash flow decent. Somebody with real money could turn this place around quick.

"They" could quickly make it somewhat of a in place to locate.

No part of that location makes sense. Who's gonna venture out that way?

I read that and hope its true but also wont blame him if he doesnt. I think hes been pretty done trying to carry that area on his own for awhile now.... I like Chase a lot and he sure gave it his all..but its just not working. Couldn't get the resturant to stick... the events have dwindled...he tried to move fattys to provenance sometime ago.... I really think hes probably done.

They're all Democrats.
NY Republicans will find they align a lot more with southern Dems.

Why does Curtis love that shithole so much?
It has much of his demographic, has cheap cost of living, and cheap land.

I like how hard he trolls Diddy online
Or how he offered Mayweather a million dollars if he could read Cat in the Hat

Shreveport is like any other city, good areas and bad areas. I would live in Broadmoor, the Pepper Ridge area, or especially the area around the southern loop. Oh, and the south side of Cross lake.

My area and honestly I couldnt ask for much more out of life. Safe, quiet but plenty of nice resturants, shops and stuff to do within 5 minutes... great area of parks with free family friendly events and LOW cost of living.
Wanna take my family to a downtown festival? My son to the aquarium or maybe date night in East Bank district... 15 minute drive.
I tell people all the time how easy and nice it is living out here...for all the clowning on this area it sure is nice if you find the right place to buy

They have a long history of destroying a place then fleeing somewhere else and continuing to vote for the same BS that destroyed their original home

From New York City to Shreveport.
A slight adjustment for culture shock may be necessary.
