Again not the teachers decision, but feel free in leading the charge in firing them. Then you have no shot in schools opening, teachers will collect unemployment, and you will still be have unsupervised kids at home trying to learn online with no professional instruction.

If you count coaching high school football on game days, I worked a ton of 16+ hour days.

You can call bullshite all you like, but they did. Regularly hosting Google Meets or Zoom meetings at 7-9 pm in the evening to accommodate the kids who didn’t have access to internet/device earlier in the day or who were working (I’m in high school).
I’m not even a teacher and had to set my Google Voice number to Do Not Disturb at 6-7 pm because I had parents and students calling all hours of the night.

My wife worked her arse off to try and educate her kids online and it sucked. It took lots of effort. Now she isnt being given any kind of direction on whether or not she will have class in person so shes having to prepare for both. Its increased her work load for sure.

Same with my wife. She isnt being involved in any of the decision making in any way which is asinine. The random ideas that come down the pipe are ridiculous.
Kindergarden kids in class for 8 hours with masks on, lunch in the classroom, no recess, and no getting close to each other? Yea right. Online? Yea right, the parents are largely useless there.

We can VOTE taxes away. The politicians only put the popular shite up to a vote. They want you to vote for schools, "public safety", firefighters, etc. The unsavory stuff they do quickly during session and nobody talks about it. Baton Rouge had an opportunity to vote away a tax this past weekend and it passed. It would have only reduced the Sheriff budget back to levels it was at just 2 years ago!!! Dumbfricks voted for it. There are ways to lower taxes without breaking the kings law.
