We dont need to go back to the days when men always wore coat and tie when flying but is it so much to ask to at least wear jeans, shirt and reasonable shoes?

So many nasty fricks in pajama pants, dirty flip flops and wifebeaters.

Also there should be a weight limit for yoga pants.

It has become necessary, yes.

Perhaps if the airlines would consider giving me a seat larger than an infant carrier, and provide the kind of service they provided back in the day, I would consider wearing a coat and tie. Otherwise, as long as they want to treat me like cattle, I'll wear whatever I please.

...as long as the dress code requires hot women to wear yoga pants, and bans fat chicks from wearing them.

More people should wear flip flops to the airport since 80% of flyers only find out when they get the x-ray that they also have to take off their shoes

Nothing says "I've given up on life" quite like wearing pajamas in public

My last year flying a lot, I did 140ish thousand miles. The majority of those were in flip flops and only carrying a 20 year old booksack as a carryon.

Sorry. Not sorry.

Also not sorry that I don't need a seatbelt extender but my shoulders spill into seats on each side of me.

People should just have some self reps ect and awareness and always adhere to this. I don't even like going out in public with gym shorts and a t shirt.

I would definitely be on board with this. Could definitely see Delta doing it.

The melt would be glorious.

Yes they should. If you fly through Chicago it is often like a freak show.

To be fair, it's pretty much that way at any major hub these days.

...although strangely enough, SeaTac is pretty normal...it being Seattle and all.

Flip flops should only be worn in your own home, at the beach or at the pool.

Lack of self respect and respect of others is what has brought us to the modern culture of uncivilized behavior. Not too long ago, acting like an arse in public got you kicked the frick out of the airport. These days it gets you 100,00 instagram followers and an apology from the airline.

I wear socks and shoes specifically because I have to walk through that area.

I find this amazing. At the TSA checkpoint it feels like everyone else's first time.
