Shopping for a designer puppy is hell

I thought car shopping was my least favorite thing to do. This shite is rediculous. Any reputable breeder have waiting list that stretch into next year. I'm at the point where Craigslist is the best option. Even then, you cannot get a response from anyone. Found 2 sets of dogs within a 8 hour drive. And you cannot get any response from anyone. I was willing to drop $4000 on 2 puppies in Gainesville. Got one reply email, now crickets.

Oh and I forgot. Some of these breeders pick the dog for you. You fill out a questionnaire and they pick based on the dogs personality.

Get on the list for Crocket Doodles in Greenville, SC. They move pretty quick and allow people to rank litters, accept/pass, and then move to the next person.
That said, spending that kind of coin on dogs is ridiculous. Go find a nice rescue from a shelter

Bruh, a f$&kimg Tiger Cuh only costs $2k! You could get a great pup for under $200 from a rescue organization specializing in the breed you want.

These will be inside dogs. No shedding. Can't find many of those at pound

People legit pay extra for certain features. $100 for curly hair, $100 for red hair. My grandparents got a mini golden doodle and the final cost was like $1,700. Absurd

All you need is a good, free to a good home cat.
Low maintenance. Low overhead of vets/food, etc.
