99% of them are normal functions that have no issues. Of course you will only hear about the ones where something shitty happens.

maybe but Hammond is full of thugs. I’d put the odds at 70 % thug 30 % bullied kid as shooter

Usually when there are a bunch of shot and only a few people are hurt its a brother because the street thug can't shoot for shite.

Usually when its a white, its some army freak who goes in the woods and practices shooting because he wants to do as much damage as possible.

If its a black that shoots up in public its because there was some type of argument, things get emotional, someone pulls a gun they haven't spent much time practicing to shoot.

The blacks usually are not looking to just kill anyone like the whites.

You don't shoot people if you're not looking to kill someone.

Literally a cardinal rule: never point your weapon at something you don’t intend to destroy

The entire downtown, SLU, and Gnarly Barley, just to name a few.

Huge con has been Cherry St spilling over the tracks the last few weeks and it is very concerning.

Is Hammond High predominately “democrat”?

Yes, of course it is. Things like this don't happen in Ponchatoula or Mandeville.

Yes there was. There seems to be a shooting every other day around here. It's always the same type involved as well. It's becoming a large problem.

I never hear anything positive about a graduation. Is it all that necessary to do the whole ceremony thing? Seriously, it seems like one of those things that are done because "that's how we always did it".

So we should skip honoring our achievers due to the behavior of those that likely dropped out? No, we should not cancel them. Trashy people ruin enough as it is.
