why is “one in custody”…

Because they arrested them?

Why are you making this about gun control when you know next to nothing about the details of the case?

We have no clue how the weapons were obtained

We have no clue if he successfully passed a background check

We don’t even know if an ar15 was used or not

Kinda of a moot point when the state has lax gun laws.

Lay out the gun law that would've prevented this feel free to use the 2nd amendment as a guideline, and feel free to factor in the shooters had no problem violating a myriad of laws already in place.

Getting some conflicting reports from TPD sources. I know the media outlets are reporting 5 dead from their “law enforcement sources” but I just heard from a former TPD deputy that none confirmed dead, hope that’s the case

Not wild at all. Reporters have sources at local law enforcement, state police, and some reporters may have worked that area and still have sources

Also seeing reports of only one shooter involved, not 2 like OP is saying.

would be wild for them to get that scoop before any of the local stations.

Or they just ran with a BS rumor like what usually happens in the first few hours for events like this.
I know you want to be the first to break news, but there needs to be some responsibility involved. Nobody else is saying fatalities yet, and no other site is saying multiple shooters (although the one guy they interview said there were at least 2).

Yeah I don't look at this shite like it's a game like you do.

As an athiest and former democrat voter, I won't be siding with you any longer.

I know the game well, and I also know statistics and reality. The former I can play well with your bullshite and the latter destroys all of your other stupid narratives.

Again, I wish you luck in hopes you FINALLY get your straight, white, male shooter that voted for Trump. Team blue really needs it after the past few years. Then your heroes can talk about disarming people who aren't the problem while they are surrounded by armed guards to protect themselves from the very population that votes them into office. Oh the ironic irony is ironing

No other first world country deals with the absurd amount of gun violence that America does. This is something that is unique to America among it's allies. But instead of actually doing something we get told oh we cant do that because God help us that we use context in regards to the constitution in that the second amendment was written when the musket was the main gun of choice. And no this isn't a call to ban all guns but putting in actual common sense laws would help.

WFTV previously reported 5 dead, but they’ve now retracted that report apparently.

Well shite you right legalize murder because clearly it isn't 100% effective. Other countries don't have this problem maybe that might have something to do with our laws. But nah let's just useless shite like hope and prayers and act like adding more guns will fix the problem until the next bloodbath because while we can use contextulaislm for other amendments we have to take a hard stance on this particular one no matter how many people die

It definitely doesn't have anything to do with massive overuse of medication, teaching kids to catastrophize and encouraging their mental breakdowns, spending a couple of decades telling the most capably dangerous group of people (young men) that they're inherently toxic and bad by default, etc.

I have seen some real videos my kid sent me. Not good. These people have to be dead. Saw two bodies for sure

Mass murderers will murder. Take away the guns and they will use knives, bombs, acid or any other available item they can get their hands on.

This is how we know you people aren't serious

The ONLY thing that would plausibly help would be gun bans (which I oppose of course)

"common sense gun laws" are absolutely useless and promoted almost solely by instagram Karens

Okay, now break that down further, tell me exactly WHO is doing the majority of the gun violence, and then frick off into the distance because you don't want to admit the ugly truth that the real numbers show

Mind actually explaining what bullshite I'm propping up? You act like I'm hoping that the shooter is some angry white dude. I couldn't care less what identity they are because that's not my concern. Hell I'd rather media not give shooters any acknowledgement other than if they're alive, arrested, or dead. Plenty of shooters just do it for some sick recognition that's why a lot have manifestos. The Columbine shooters admitted to as much in one of the videos they recorded before doing it
