Got the shingles shot a couple weeks ago. Take ibuprofen the day before and a couple days after the shot.
The area where I got the shot in my arm felt hard for a few days and I felt lethargic and lost my appetite for a few days. Not complete flu like symptons just didnt feel that good for a few days. Have my follow up in October.
Still glad I got it but wish I knew what I typed above before I got it.
Good Luck

Yes I have and no issues at all

Yes, 2 shots spaced far apart.
Having already had shingles, the 6 months of stabbing pain 24/7/365 was well worth avoiding if possible, especially if it hits your upper body.
FYI, it only attacks 1 side of your body (left or right)
It only attacks upper (head and neck), middle (torso), and lower (groin, butt, legs)
Upper and lower are worse, middle is probably best.

Also check with place giving shot on best time to get (like can not get either shot a week or so from getting the flu shot if memory serves)

Yep I had it. Didn't save my roof from that hail storm though.

Yes
It is two shots a couple months apart
I didn’t have any issues with it
From what I hear it’s worth it because shingles is really bad

The second shot prompts a stronger (flu-like) reaction. Get it on a Friday so you have a couple of days to recover.
Yep, my reaction. First one just had a sore arm. Second time I ran a little fever for half a day. My DOC never mentioned a thing about COVID, EVER, but recommended I take a shingles vaccine. I had a friend who caught it in his eye and lost it, didn't want to fool around with shingles. I will never get a covid 'vaccine' EVER !

Isn’t it like $300.00?
No cost with most insurance

Too young to get it but I had shingles a few months ago on my head. And holy shite I don’t wish that on my worst enemy.

The old lady and I got the shot at our local Krogers. No issues at all with either shot. Free with insurance. From everything I heard, Shingles is absolutely miserable. I don't believe in the flu or 'rona vaccines.

No, I've already had shingles so my doc said it's "unlikely" I'll get it again. My brother took it and got Bell's palsy for months.

I had both shots. I had no medical issues but my arm was sore for about 3 days.
I only got it because a good friend of mine caught shingles and said it was the worst thing he had ever been through.

Got the first one with two other shots(not the magic covid "vaccine") and it was terrible. Not sure from which one. Employed my usual avoidance/procrastination strategy and waited about a year for the second one. No issues from that one.

My dad had a severe reaction to it. On top of getting a case of shingles that lasted 5 or 6 months, his immune system, in particular his WBC’s were compromised. It damn near killed him honestly

That vaccine made both of us really feel like crap. I dreaded going back for the second one. But I did, because shingles is much worse than any vaccine. Now I am done and quite happy about it.

The only people I know who have had shingles have had the vaccine.

Made both my wife and I feel like crap for a day or 2

I got shingles on my scrotum the next day. No bueno.
