Shell Norco or Rubicon

I know, another plant question. Well it has come down to these two plants. Shell Norco and Rubicon/Huntsman Geismar for an Operator position. Any opinions would be great!!

Norco. I Work with a lot of ex Rubicon employees. There is a reason they aren't there anymore.

Don’t have experience at Rubicon but I always felt safe for the 4 years I spent at Norco. I always felt like there were plenty of people doing the right thing there.

Job security...Shell has other nearby sites. Geismar just completed an expansion and is considering another. Not that difficult to move around within if a better opportunity presents itself.

Shell. And it isn’t close. People don’t leave shell to go to rubicon. People from rubicon leave to go to shell tho.

Shell is a great company to work for. Also, there’s some really nasty shite (e.g. phosgene) in the lines at Rubicon. Shell Norco, on the other hand is an Ethylene plant and refinery. Much safer.
