That is all there is to this for you isn't it. You see the word animal and immediately think it is racist. The same descriptions have been used for all violent individuals, regardless of race. Quit virtue signalling. You will get where you need to be quicker.

Therein lies the frick up and the reason this guy is dead.
Folks keep saying this like long term facilities readily exist like they did 40 years ago. They don’t.
There’s two huge gaps right now in mental health care. It’s the layer between your once or twice a week sessions and short term hospitalization (a few days to a couple of months). Then there’s the extreme lack of longer term facilities for folks like the man in the OP who has a chronic mental health diagnosis that is often difficult to treat (schizophrenia) due to poor medication maintenance and access to intensive care. You have criminal mental health long term care but that’s after they’ve been convicted of a crime.
