Just at a glance it is easy to see that movie created quite a fuss with people even before it was released. I'm sure there was a script, and she along with every other actor in it read that script. What that film was was no secret, and I'm sure it was no secret that it was expected to be a box office smash (it was, 4th highest grossing film of the year). Sharon Stone had ample opportunity to back out, and by her own admission opportunity and motive to persue legal options against the film. She didn't. It appears as though Ms. Stone had a price, and she grew to regret it.
For the record, if flashing my junk for a few seconds on film would make me the kind of money it did her, I'd be all in, too.

The story is the director said her beaver wouldn't actually be visible in the shot. She didn't know it was until she saw the final edit. She has been vocally upset about it from day one. Given that I tend to believe her, had it indeed just come out now I would be highly dubious.
