Pretty sure a Robert DeNiro comedy is already in the works.

I was told today by a currently-enrolled college student that female collegiate softball players signal their heterosexuality by putting a ribbon or bow in their hair.

So the players wore yellow hair ties throughout the season and yellow elbow guards and sunflowers in their ponytails for the championship game. Heather’s initials were emblazoned on their batting helmets.
“I know she was on the field with us,” outfielder Bailey Castro, 21, a junior from Pembroke Pines, Florida, tells PEOPLE. “It was what gave us a great run.”

I asked a girl who plays collegiate softball, and she said it was more prominent years back. Not so much anymore. She's very straight and doesn't wear a ribbon; just wears braids like most of the girls on her team.

Some clown had a thread a year or two ago about how he didn't want his daughter playing softball due to lesbo tendencies and got skewered for it. I think people commented on the fashion distinctions between the munchers and non-munchers.
To be fair, if your daughter plays softball there's a good chance she'll one day have a muff in her face. If you don't want her to have a muff in her face, you'd do better to choose a different sport.

Used to coach college softball. The "bi" ones and gay ones still wore ribbons
