Sexual Orientation Signal Amongst Softballers

I was told today by a currently-enrolled college student that female collegiate softball players signal their heterosexuality by putting a ribbon or bow in their hair.
A cursory review of current NCAA Softballer persons would seem to confirm this suggestion.
Any related commentary that won't get this thread whacked?

I was told by a swinger that swingers use pineapples as a sign to other swingers, most notably upside down pineapples in their shopping cart at the grocery store or regular pineapples on their front porch/windows.
No clue if it is true, but I've looked for them ever since and never seen one. Not to be a swinger, but just for the people watching fun.

Some clown had a thread a year or two ago about how he didn't want his daughter playing softball due to lesbo tendencies and got skewered for it. I think people commented on the fashion distinctions between the munchers and non-munchers.

Um...no. Maybe the girly girls are the only ones who want to wear a ribbon in their hair? The theory seems pretty goofy to me. Who, exactly, are they signaling? The lesbian SB players so they leave them alone in the showers....? Which, is not a problem to begin with....That is crazy.

My college roommate was dating a softball pitcher. She used to walk around in a t-shirt and panties. She was fine as hell.
