I think bows are becoming less prevalent in college softball, When I heard this story a couple years ago I started looking
Maybe someone can tell me what a headband means because that is becoming the headgear of choice
Maybe they caught on to the outside wold learning their code and switched up to something noticeable but less noticeable

I know a few current and former SB players. All are confirmed straight (one is married) and most of the images online of them playing show 0 ribbons or bows.
I wonder if that is what SB players tell noobs just to frick with them

I'm taking a wild guess that the Groucho Marx bit of "I would never join any club that would have me as a member" applies here.

Never heard of the pineapple thing but I know a restaurant/bar in dfw where if you put a peanut on the table at the bar it means you're open for the swinging bidness.

The girl that told me was a co-worker. She claimed it was something about the ribbon shows what their preference was.
It was a few years ago she told me and I forgot what it was.

This is VERY TRUE. Not just at a grocery store.
I worked on a golf course in a retirement community in Florida..I kept seeing these old geezers with pineapple headcovers, easily 20+ different golfers a day, men and women.
Finally asked the director of instruction, WTF is this? He said it's to identify as a swinger. Bunch of nasty old fricks.
