You had the tornado warning posted for Bossier Parish before the Weather Service website had it posted.

Their Twitter may be quick, but your Twitter to tigerdroppings move was just as quick.

Nice to feel that temp drop about 20 degrees on that wind. Saw a bolt of lightning that must have hit something hard. First time seeing one big enough to fall apart instead of just flashing out instantly. Power never even flickered, got my generator all hot and bothered for nothing.

I guess I should get the wife and kids from the closet.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not be hasty here. Do you hear how quiet it is?

Do you want to ruin that?

Sitting in a 6 by 6 bathroom north of Arcadia, LA with my wife, my 4 month old, my wife’s cousin and my two dogs.

And the 4 month old just ripped a big fart.

I live near Lsu as well. Definitely gusting a lot outside. Probably going to retire now and see if the fireworks wake me up in a few hours

I just took an Ambien. Rolling the dice on sleeping through my own death.

My plan was to go to sleep early so the storm wouldn’t interfere with a solid 8 hours...

How close to LSU are you? I'm in Oak Hills where I can hop on Burbank and be at LSU in a few minutes. The "wind" outside would be considered a gentle breeze if there was no hype behind this. It rained earlier but not raining now.

The actual storm isn't here yet but I mean if it was "gusting" at LSU almost an hour ago I'd think some of that would be here by now.

I’m quite surprised to wake up and see a big chunk of Alabama has been taken back out of the enhanced risk, and there is no hatched area anywhere.

About 5 miles north of Arcadia off 151. It was hairy for a bit and we have some big limbs down. Just rain here now.

Wind gusts 30-40 MPH in my area now. Also have been in the cone for the tornado warning in Lake Charles and some potential rotation was spotted moving from Sulphur to right by me but looks like the warning will expire but the wind is crazy anyway.

Would post a video but it would give away exactly where I live.
