I don't know about a bible source, but God is making my special needs son with mobility limitations grow to at least 6 feet 3. If that doesn't show that God has a sense of humor, I don't know what would.

Can think of one right off the top of my head:
In the parable of the Good Samaritan each time Jesus mentioned the priest and the Levite walking on the “other side” of the road to Jericho to avoid the beaten person the crowd would have laughed.
Why?
The road is only 18 inches wide.
So Jesus would have been painting an absurd picture of men performing obnoxious feats trying to avoid the body to narrate a pretty serious point.

What do you mean by a sense of humor? Sarcasm? No, God was not sarcastic. Joy? Yes absolutely God was joyful. Did Jesus walk around telling one liners as he and the apostles traveled form town to town? Probably not.
