At that time, the Silverado was the best looking one.
Tundra was a great truck but that style was ugly AF

I've replaced the water pump, alternator, knock sensors, intake gaskets, belts, did a full frontend rebuild on it and replaced the shocks and axle snubs few months back, have done all the fluids several times, did the oil pan gasket, rear main seal, transmission input shaft seal, and rear end pinion bearing and seal this year too. All of those things any 20 year old truck needs including a Tundra.
Yeah, probably so. Tundras require maintenance too. But in the Chevy, you’ll eventually have buttons fall off and the dashboard will disintegrate (my dad’s 2002 Silverado had this), things like that.

Fiancee's truck has every original button and the dash is pristine. Once again, maintenance is everything. My coworker has a first gen Tundra and the interior is rough and it leaks oil from several spots. He bought it from a family member that was the original owner and he wants to fix it up and keep it going so kudos to him but he's going to be putting in some serious work and cash into it.

Toyota took the ugliest F150 ever, copied it, made some subtle changes and made it work IMO. Best looking Tundra to my eyes.

My husband is a woman and hates trucks too. Douchebag. They are made for a purpose and a daily driver is not one.
BTW, I've had 4 trucks, and three of them served me well as my daily driver. The one I have now is generally not used for that, but only because I have a beater I use for all those "trash" miles so I can keep them off my truck.

O2 F150 checking in. 4.6 liter
I did replace motor at 282k. The tranny is smooth as glass at 341k miles.

I still have my 01 Ram. It still runs. Only new vehicle I have ever owned.
