Haven't done the paperwork, I can contact our 'salesman' and discuss trade in options. I doubt he gets within 3 grand of my asking price though. They don't want a manual truck I'm sure.
You could drop your asking price almost $3k to a private seller and still come out the same with the tax savings.
You do understand how the trade-in works with sales tax and what a courtesy trade is?

I looked at your listing on Tacoma World, it is a nice enough truck, but with all the mods and the ding on the tailgate, you will have a seriously limited pool of buyers. You have to realize that buyers won't have the emotional connection to your truck like you do. I don't know much about Tacoma's, but for nearly $30 grand I sure as hell ain't buying that truck. Those mods aren't for me, and you have be aware that it is a very specific buyer that will buy it and it will take longer than a stock truck to sell.
It is like a house, if you have a generic 3/2 starter home, it will sell much faster than a 4000 sq ft custom dream home that you love. It's just the market and what people are looking for. I would trade it in and take the hit and be done with it.

Send them detailed pics - be aware of scams

It is pretty easy you find out what the vehicle is worth you ask that price and know the lowest offer you would accept. If someone bids too low tell them I am sorry I cannot let it go at that price and just ensure you tell them all the things they need to know and that's that. I sold my truck in 2 days to a good ole boy who came cash in hand. We settled 1K under asking price went to notary did a title transfer and a bill of sale it was easy as that. Just be honest and if you don't think it is a fair deal you can say no it is that easy.

My truck is stock. I didn't level, lift, change out ANYTHING that effects the stock performance. I bolted on stuff that's effectively free to the buyer. I'm selling the stock wheels and tires with the vehicle.
The rack makes this truck way more useful. Lumber, toys...not a whole lot of shite fits in a 5 ft bed.
ETA: You don't like my tailgate theft-prevention mod?

Good Lord, how many years did you finance it for?
72 months. Forgot to mention a trade in on top of down payment. 2007 F250 so that was another $8K off purchase price.
I have 3 car notes so stretch them so the dollar amount is lower per month.

If so, then you have never truly been in a very stressful situation.

Yea, I have to pitch a complete set of specifications for a gas generation plant on a government site today to the PEs at my company...because they are due tomorrow.

Cool to me = cool. I've been telling you all that for years.
Says the guy who customized a vehicle and now it's worth less than stock.
Maybe your sense of style just isn't as great as you think.

The only reason my tuck would even remotely be worth less than stock is because I rubbed and backed into a couple of trees actually using the damn thing for trail riding. It IS a stock truck.

Dude, your numbers still don't add up.
$61k - $10k down = $51k
$51k - $8k trade in = $43k to finance
$43k / $500 a month = 86 months
And that's giving you a few extra dollars because you said your note is below $500 a month.

Might have been better in the piney woods of mississippi with a tree stand in the background.
What's your next purchase? This ride seems to fit your style.

Dude wants $28,500 for a 2013 Tacoma with 50,000 miles? Cloth interior, manual transmission, and shitty add-ons? Nah, bruh.
