No one will pay 30K for your truck.

Alright, if I didn't think my truck was worth more since it's a manual I'd set it below that accordingly. My asking isn't my drop dead price and mechanically it is in Excellent condition.

I am totally fine with that. If I ask $26,500 then I get offered $23,000, I'm just trying to start the offers at your lower price and go from there.

Me setting it at $28,500, and I didn't even put obo on it or firm or any qualifier stating I want exactly that or more, is just that...a starting point (very damn close to what comps are on Autotrader). Are they going to get that...no...so why I start lower just to come down even more?

You ought to try selling shite on those Facebook resale sites. It makes me borderline homicidal dealing with those people.

According to my HP12C financial calculator...

Interest = 3.5%
Term = 72 months
Payment = $485

Present Value (your loan amount) = $31,455

Yes, you get a tax break, but its not always better.

I was offered $9,200 at Carmax for a 3 series a few years ago. I sold it for $14,750. No chance I would get that much of a "Tax break" given the additional $$ I have to pay at a dealer OVER the value of the new(to me) car vs a private party purchase.

CARMAX REALLY!!! You prove my point idiotic move those people are biggest rip off ever. Who buy a car that has "no negotiation pricing" that is over priced anyway, also you expect those rip off artist to pay you decently for your vehicle. I'm writing a book soon on car buying for those like you be the FIRST to buy. I have numerous satisfied clients and some fun money saving stories.

You are too dumb to write a book.

Please don't be sentimental with this piece of iron. Proven fact after selling numerous vehicles that I kept immaculate they will NOT do the same sell it and move on. It's nothing special they've made millions of them and probably have a new model already.

Worst part is that I still owe money on it, so I don't have the title in hand. Just an added wrinkle I've never dealt with.

Selling something you don't own can be difficult. Especially since not many people want to bail someone out of being upside down in a car deal

I'm very far from upside down. I don't need help, I just need to find someone who wants a manual DCSB 4x4 Taco.
