Seeking advice from fellow OT baws about repo men. UPDATED FOR THOSE WHO DON'T CARE.

Truck loan has been paid off for over 3 months now. I have title in hand and all bank statements proving my 48 month lease was paid off. I get a call from a friend(i use his house address for all mail(dont trust city mail)), saying a repo guy wasat his house looking for me/truck.
How can a repo man take my truck if my accout is $0 -hence, title in hand- and i have all associated paperwork stating i have paid all of my truck notes.
When I call the leasing office they tell me i owe them money. When i reply, "why would you guys send me the title to my truck if i still owed on my account?". Bitch at leasing office wont give me a straight answer and says i owe.
Options?

Fat lady bitch emails this to me, " there was a transition in personnel and unfortunately there were no notes on your account regarding title transfer" the repossession has been cancelled. I was about to make the sequel to "Law Abiding Citizen" if they didn't rectify the situation that they caused.

Tape a copy of the title in your window that says you will prosecute or kill anyone who takes your legally owned property.

Loan and lease are 2 different things. I would assume you had a loan since you now have title in hand.
Tell the bitch at the office that you have the title in hand and receipts/proof of your loan being paid off and that if they attempt to repo the car you already paid off that you’ll sue the company and press auto theft charges against them
