No lawyers? Law firms are companies
Forbes weighs customer and employee satisfaction and integrity as key performance measures. So unfortunately ambulance chasers were left off the list

Whatever happened to Pennington? I thought they were one of the top 10 companies.

Someone told me that a dude invented a special vacuum specifically for Stuller that vacuums up all of the gold dust left over from the daily workspaces and has saved that company hundreds of thousands of dollars every year that would’ve been put in the garbage. Not sure how it separates the gold from the other particles but I thought that was cool.

I would not expect a high ranking for Stuller. It's an interesting company and a major supplier for makers of high quality custom jewelry. Not exactly what you would expect for Laffy. In the scheme of big industry, that is a relatively small niche. Their sales are tied to the price of gold, but so are their costs.

What a list, geezus
I wonder if Forbes is channeling, crafty marketing and creating demand like those Who's Who listings or SuperLawyers to drum up hype or scam businesses by charging them to fill out a business profile and rank them using their own metrics.
That way these companies after spending a few dollars can advertise being a Forbes Top 15 Louisiana company.

That list is questionable
Several of those companies do not reveal their financials so how could they be on the list?

Weird to me that no healthcare organizations are listed.
