How many oil baws are contracted in those countries? I imagine a fair amount. I know some horse folks have business in some of those Middle Eastern areas.

Also a fair amount of folks that travel to Israel this time of year as well.

I’m so pretty sure the airport in Dubai is one of the busiest international airports in the world.

Call me uncultured, etc but no where in the middle east has never appealed to me. First of all, how many times, on one of those countries, at some point has it all of a sudden become a risk for Americans to be there? I know not all of those countries, but you never know when who will do what and then all of a sudden your life is at risk.

What does that have to do with what I said? My point is it makes sense for State to tell Americans to get out of an area where missiles and drones are flying in. It has nothing to do with “I thought Doha was safe for tourists.”

I noticed that Cuba is not on the list.

Perhaps it's on the list of countries that Americans should prepare to go to.

Other than Israel and the UAE, I don't know why any Americans would voluntarily go to any of those countries. Work is an obvious exception.

I guess I won’t be moving to Old Yemen Road as I had planned.

OweO, I can’t believe it, but I have never agreed with you more. I was just talking to my father in law a few days ago about this and we both agreed Americans who leisurely travel to the Middle East are fricking retarded. No sense in putting yourself and your family/kids in a position to be caught up in a terror attack or a fricking war. I just don’t see the attraction.

Literally among the safest countries on the planet.

Dubai isn’t a country.

Little known fact about Dubai: the people there don’t like the Flintstones but the people in Abu Dabi do!

Weird that two countries at war, Pakistan and India, aren’t in the list.

Their skirmishes have been over for like 10 months now. It's 2026 and this season is Pakistan vs Afghanistan.
