asks to see his ID?

I know it’s minimal considering he shoots the guy, but it blows my mind he feels entitled to demand this guys ID. Even after he shoots the guy in the chest he’s demanding ID lol.

In the video he's saying that wheelchair dude pulled a gun on him. If that's true that changes things IMO (assuming the shooter is licensed and legally carrying). Airsoft gun or not, you can't pull a weapon (and one likely indistinguishable from a real gun) on someone and then not expect to be met with equal force if that person is also carrying a gun.

Not really. The shooter is the one who instigated the entire confrontation from the start. By being the initial instigator, he loses the ability to claim he acted in self defense.

You can't be concealed carrying, provoke a confrontation, then shoot the other guy when he reacts to your provocation and claim it was all self defense.

Wheelchair dude is a vet.

Was the shooter?

Considering he was carrying a satchel, I'm going to put my money on "not a vet"

Let’s do a hypothetical.

You’re having a bad day, and someone accidentally stumbles into you, you say “back off, MFer” or something, he tells you F you, you shove him, he pulls a gun.
Now you’re supposed to just get shot without defending yourself?

So a hypothetical that is nothing like the incident in this thread?

But I get this guy is a huge "anti-fascist".

This will get interesting

Not that cut and dry. The shooter accosted the guy in the wheelchair, instigated the entire incident, and then proceeded to come at him like he was going to rob him. That’s when the weapon was pulled.

This guy would be in trouble in Mississippi. Not to mention Seattle, Washington.

This happened on July 31 I think. Crazy this didn't make bigger headlines. Has to be because of the Jacksonville/Trump angle. How the hell is this person not in prison for 20 years?

How are people glossing this part? The guy was scared, pulled a gun (which was dumb because it was an air soft) to try and scare the crazy a-hole away.

This isn't a political gotcha on either side, that guy harassed the other guy and caused the whole thing.

Stolen valor sucks, and I wish they'd criminalize it, but that idiot had no right to go after the guy in the wheelchair.

Not to mention the fact that he has to prove he was in fear of his life (or the lives of others). I fully supported the woman that shot 4 of the 6 guys that were stomping her brother out. They were going to kill him. I don't care how hood that girl might be. I don't care if she has 6 kids and exploits the welfare system. That shooting was justified 100%. She killed to save a life,

What is Mr Timms afraid of? A 300 lb, 75+ year old man with one leg in a wheelchair. Dude, just walk around that corner and beat feet if you're scared. It's ten yards away. Go up some stairs!

His politics or past history notwithstanding, just fricking leave dude.

Dude he clearly goes around setting up these situations so he can kill someone.

Go watch other shite of him. He’s legitimately 10/10 insane and will 100% murder someone and possibly many people at some point in his life.

That intersection is right when you hop off the ferry into downtown. Very touristy and safe. The homeless are all about 3-4 blocks away doing crazy drugs you have never even heard of, but it feels as nice as anywhere I have been right there. It’s so nice you are paranoid to hit your damn vape
